Safeguarding At Sancta Maria

Safeguarding is everything we do in school to keep children safe, healthy, happy, and therefore learning.

At Sancta Maria, safeguarding children is not only for their immediate well-being, but also for their long-term physical, emotional, and cognitive development. It is a shared responsibility among educators, administrators, parents, and the community to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our safeguarding practices, we invite any insights you might have. Contact our Parent Relations Team to share your suggestions.

  • We diligently track daily attendance and promptly address absences of concern with parents.
  • Our recruitment procedures prioritise safety and adherence to best practices.
  • All staff members undergo police clearance checks as part of our screening process.
  • The presence of a school nurse contributes to on-site medical support.
